How the Grinch Saved Christmas

Some of us just need a little nudge to get into the holiday spirit

How the Grinch Saved Christmas

Nobody’ll dare say it but we will: Not everyone loves Christmas.

Because life happens, like it or not, and we come to realise that there are other holidays equally worth celebrating (late shoutout to all Halloweenies!) and we don’t really need an excuse to binge-shop. Besides, red and green will wash anyone out and sometimes, mistletoe is nothing but a hemiparasitic plant.

Now, before the Whovillagers storm the gates with their candy cane-striped tiki torches, don’t get us wrong. The part where elf hat-wearing families gather around the tinseled tree, share a beautiful feast, and exchange thoughtful presents - that’s all great. Like, we’re not monsters, okay? In fact, the partying is one of the best parts of Christmas!

And not just your ordinary holiday fête; we mean a full-on Yuletide whobilation!

Whether you’re a Cindy Lou or one of the rest of the Whos, or even The G-man himself, the possibilities of this party theme are endless! The trademark upturned noses, the green makeup, the Max doggie antlers - who can resist?

Best of all, drumroll, please… the pièce de résistance!

This December, head over to a Bake Boss shop near you for this one-of-a-kind cake decorating class! Learn how to mask a round cake in ganache and apply fondant, and you’ll be sure to come away with one party show-stopper.
