Beginning her Apprenticeship Training at the renowned Myer Florist in the Melbourne city store to owing her own Florist shop in the Mornington Peninsula at the age of 20.
Her passion for teaching was ignited when she joined the Team as Head Teacher at Victoria Whitelaw School of Flowers. This is where the story has a new beginning “Not everyone gets to have a career they love, I’m very lucky” Being able to give back all that I have learnt over the years to up and coming Students is very gratifying and left me wanting to offer more. Not only having her Certificate lll in Floristry Jemina attending night school to gain her Certificate lV in Training & Assessment – making her an accredited Teacher. That is when she returned to where it all began having been a Floristry student at Box Hill Institute (many years before) and coming full circle by returning as a part of the teaching faculty.
