Description
Our stories are not bound to one place, neither are storytellers!
Taking inspiration from different landscapes, prompts, exercises and discussions, this two-day workshop will support rangatahi to create poetry, short stories, spoken word and other mediums in a safe and supportive environment.
Facilitated by award-winning poets Ruby and Eric from Te Kāhui.
Lunch and all materials will be provided - but be sure to bring an object of significance to you for a special writing prompt!
What you will learn

The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.
We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.
Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open Monday to Saturday, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

ADULTS, YOUTH AND CHILDREN’S CLASSES/WORKSHOPS ENROLMENT POLICY
- A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.
