Large Scale Drawing
Description
Drawing can often be a small scale, intricate and intimate process. In this two-day weekend workshop you will embrace drawing on a large scale pushing the boundaries of what we consider as drawing.
Led by visual artist Han Nae Kim, in this workshop you will be experimenting with different mark making methodologies and visual recording processes in order to translate your ideas into large-scale works. You will learn how to prepare your chosen working surfaces including canvas, paper, card or even found materials. Applying a range of materials in your drawing process, you will aim to complete at least one large scale drawing-based artwork.

The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.
We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.
Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open Monday to Saturday, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

- A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.
