Does making lots of amazing cheese yourself sound like something you can see yourself utilising and really enjoying?

Well Graham Redhead, one of Australia's most experienced Cheesemakers, has developed a unique series of programs which will give you the skills and expertise to make lots of different varieties of cheese in your own home: handmade, traditional, and gourmet.

As a respected dairy and cheesemaking professional with nearly 30 years of experience in making cheese, including teaching commercial cheesemakers, Graham personally leads each intensive cheesemaking course. You will have a dedicated work station to ensure a 100% hands-on learning experience. All equipment and ingredients are provided. From start to finished product, every step is closely supervised so that the process and techniques of cheesemaking are clearly understood and applied.

There is also continuing discussion on the equipment you require and how to easily set up to make very good quality cheese at home, using many of the kitchen gadgets you already have. Detailed recipes and additional notes are supplied to help you.

Best of all you make all the cheeses, and you take away all of those cheeses with you, there are no demonstrations.

Cheesemaking is one of those processes where there is more than one way to make a good cheese. You will never stop learning and each batch can always be a little different. When you come away from the course, you will realise you are still a novice cheesemaker, but most importantly you will now have a whole new level of enthusiasm and expertise that will equip you to make awesome cheese each time and expand upon your experience.

Graham's aim is for you to leave the course and make all of the same cheeses, but under your own tuition. You may be tentative during those initial attempts, but after a few sessions of making cheese by yourself, you become so confident that you can throw away the guides provided and start making cheese unaided. It is at that point that a new cheesemaker has arisen.

Join in on these special days which are held in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Tasmania, and in some regional towns. You are guaranteed to work hard but have lots of fun at the same time. Places are limited to maximise personal instruction time, so book early.

There are two course options available: Intensive Cheesemaking and Intensive Cheese and Yoghurt Making. Both of those courses are independent of each other and both have been developed for the novice as well as the experienced cheesemaker wanting to refine or learn new cheesemaking techniques.
