ARTea Art School’s - based on the famous festival - Day of the Dead. Learn how to draw symmetrical patterns and develop drawing skills. Let’s get creative together. Join these inspirational educational art workshops, full of techniques, inspired by famous artists.
Professional artist, teacher and founder of ARTea Art School Helen Pollard will guide students to create a masterpiece. She has over 15 years teaching experience and a BA: Fine Art (Theory & Practice), MA: Art in Public Places and MA: Teaching (Primary). This is what she loves doing best – sharing techniques and inspiring little minds to create!
ARTea School Holiday workshop for children 5-12yrs. ARTea art school offers dynamic workshops for all interests, workshops include animation, drawing skills, painting and sculptural processes.
Sessions are available 9-11am, 11.30-1.30pm & 2-4pm
Book in for a single session $35+GST or two or all day 9-4pm reduced rate $90+GST (no booking fees)
BYO or lunch we can provide ARTea pack lunch $6 (sandwiches, popcorn, fruit & biscuits)
Breaks and lunch time period fully supervised, pack a nut free snack, hat and water bottle.

We hand make all our decorations and we love a challenge so any theme is possible. Create a masterpiece (arts and crafts), invite your favourite superhero or a fairy, pet your favourite farm animal, reptile or pony ride, bop to your favourite song at the disco, laugh at a clown or be marvelled by a Magician, just a few ideas. Packages start from $290. We can organise everything at our Port Melbourne studio (sun lounge and BBQ area for parents to socialise) or we can visit you (home, park, scouts hall, centre, christening, wedding, events). Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 7 days before class starts. Free of charge.
- A transfer can be requested 7 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
For Afterschool Art Smart Program -
Payment is made at the start of each term and will vary from term to term depending on the number of classes.
Please note that missed lessons are not refundable, but catch up lessons can be arranged at any of the other school locations, or a double lesson at your current location (subject to availability). If, however, you know child is going to be away at the start of the term for any length of time please let us know in advance before the commencement of the term and a revised invoice will be issued.
