Come join the Diamond Valley Art Society in the Mummery Room for a hands-on, fun-filled activity!
This workshop is perfect for kids aged 8-15, where you'll get to create your very own Wheat Bag Bear to take home! A practicing artist will guide you through every step, and there are only 10 spots per class, so you’ll get plenty of attention while making your cute little teddy bear.
Each kit comes with everything you need: a sewn teddy made from cozy polar fleece, Aussie wheat, cotton, needle, and ribbon for a lovely bow. You’ll just add the wheat, stitch up a small slit, and tie on the bow. Then, voila! You’ll have your very own bear, ready to be heated in the microwave for 1 minute, so it’ll be warm and snuggly for bedtime. Plus, there are lots of different designs to choose from!
Important: Parents or caregivers must stay with the children or remain nearby and contactable during the session. Sessions run for 45 minutes, starting at set times.
Parking: The farm can get pretty busy during school holidays, so make sure to give yourself plenty of time to find parking. If the main lot is full, there’s additional parking at the Eltham North Adventure Playground, just a 5-minute walk along the bike path to the North Entrance.

About Diamond Valley Art Society
This activity will be led by a practising artist.
Diamond Valley Arts Society (DVAS) is a local, community lead society that has been operating for nearly 53 years in the Nillumbik, Banyule and Darebin municipalities.
The volunteer group operate a range of art exhibitions, demonstration, classes and workshops over the year.

We are open 7 days a week 10am to 4.30pm.
Entry to the farm is by Donation at one of our electronic tap points around the farm.
Along with our animals, indigenous plant nursery, school environmental education program, events and workshops, Edendale plays an important role as a hub for the local community to learn and share ideas about sustainable living, caring for nature and climate action.

Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 3 days before class starts. Free of charge.
- A transfer can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Edendale Farm or organised by Edendale Farm must agree to these terms and conditions.
1. LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Edendale Farm
2. PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Edendale Farm unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs, videos or recordings taken at Edendale Farm classes and events or on Edendale Farm premises. (For use of Edendale Farm marketing materials).
Photos and videos recordings will not be taken of children without written permission from parents or guardians.
3. CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled by Edendale Farm, students will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund, transfer or credit.
