This course is designed for the novice beginning their visual journey and the experienced painter wanting a safe and encouraging studio space. The 6-week workshop series looks at ideal set-ups, materials, and the impact of medium, painting styles, composition, brush, and application techniques in acrylic.
You will be able to explore subject matter that resonates with you, working directly from still life set-ups or personally collecting images of inspiration.

Verity has won awards including first prize in the Greater Auckland Art Awards 2018, Supreme Award in the Franklin Arts Festival 2016 and the Molly Morpeth Best Drawing Award in 2007.
Verity was also a finalist in the Parkin Drawing Award 2017, Adam Portrait Award 1991, 2000, 2004, 2016 and in the Portage Ceramic Awards 2001, 2005 and 2006.

- A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.
SPECIAL ENROLMENT POLICY FOR GLASS CASTING WORKSHOPS
- A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking. Part Payment options are available at time of booking.
- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 10 days before the workshop commences results in a full refund of amount paid MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
