Introduction to Cake Decorating

Turn your cake into a work of art! Learn to professionally decorate your cakes for all occasions in this hands-on course focused on traditional and foundational fondant flower skills. You'll craft a variety of rolled fondant applications and basic flower designs including leaves, butterflies, and love hearts.

Please note that there is no baking in this class—a fruit cake will be supplied for decorating purposes due to the range of flower techniques taught.

Participants will work on pre-prepared cakes and receive a digital certificate of attendance upon completion. A light lunch will also be provided during the class. Be sure to bring your own tall container to take home everything you make, in alignment with William Angliss Institute’s sustainability policy.
