Introduction to Cake Decorating

Turn your cake into a work of art and learn to professionally decorate cakes for all occasions. This hands-on course focuses on traditional and fundamental fondant flower skills, giving you the confidence to create beautifully finished celebration cakes.

During the class, you will work with RTR fondant to practise application techniques and create a variety of decorative elements including flowers, leaves, butterflies and love hearts. Due to the variety of flowers created, participants will work on pre-prepared fruit cakes (no baking is included in this class).

At the end of the session, you will receive a digital certificate of attendance and take home everything you create.

Important Information

  • A 30-minute lunch break is included. Please bring a light lunch or snacks to ensure a timely start after the break.
  • William Angliss Institute follows an environmental sustainability policy and does not provide disposable containers. Please bring suitable containers, including a tall container for your decorated cake.
