Wildflower Walk - Temple Ridge Reserve

Join the Friends of Temple Ridge as we learn how to identify the plants and animals that consider the Reserve home. Council Biodiversity officers will lead a walk through the rugged but beautiful reserve, which is home to a diverse array of wildflowers. The walk will focus on how you can learn to identify the plants, but also animals and insects we see along the way.

The Friends of Temple Ridge are working with Council to protect the reserve from weeds and enhance it through planting indigenous plants. This walk is an opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about this special place and the species which in habitat it.

Event logistics:

Parking is limited, please consider carpooling or walking from Hurstbridge Station.

This walk will be on formed bush tracks, with some very steep and uneven sections. If you have any questions on access or abilities needed to attend this walk, please contact [email protected] and we will be able to discuss how we can assist.
