Black & White Photography Workshop
Discover the creative power of black-and-white photography in this hands-on workshop in Sydney. While colour photography is descriptive, black-and-white is interpretive—requiring a different mindset, sharper technical control, and a deeper understanding of light and contrast.
You will explore optimal camera settings for monochrome photography, learn to identify strong scenes and subjects, and experiment with high-key and low-key lighting. After introductory theory, you’ll head on location to capture images specifically suited for black-and-white conversion.
Back in the classroom, you’ll process your photos using Adobe Photoshop and Camera RAW, transforming colour images into striking monochrome artworks. This practical and engaging workshop is ideal for photographers ready to expand both their creative and technical skills.
