Make Your Own Christmas Chimney with custom hanging stockings
Get ready to spark your festive spirit with our brand-new Christmas Chimney Workshop at Samford Potters Collective!
In this fun and hands-on 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn a range of pottery techniques – including joining, sculpting, and decorating – under the friendly guidance of our expert instructor.
You’ll craft your very own ceramic Christmas chimney, complete with a custom hanging stocking, perfect for adding a touch of handmade charm to your holiday décor.
On the day, you’ll also get to underglaze your pieces so they’re ready for our team to carefully clear-glaze and double-fire. This ensures your creation is not only beautiful but durable enough to become a treasured holiday decoration for years to come.
We provide everything you need – quality clay, a full range of tools, and access to our huge underglaze wall. To keep your creative energy flowing, we’ll also treat you to tea, coffee, and a sweet treat.
This workshop is perfect for beginners through to advanced potters, so whether you’re trying pottery for the first time or adding to your collection of festive ceramics, you’ll feel right at home in our welcoming, creative studio.
Ages 12+ welcome
Please note that an adult must accompany minors. Your accompanying adult doesn’t need to participate in the workshop – they’re welcome to relax on our beautiful 5-acre property, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and make use of our tea/coffee station while you create.
Spots are limited, so book early to secure your seat at the table and make your Christmas truly magical this year!
NOTE: We will do our utmost to ensure your Christmas Chimney is ready the week before Christmas at the latest. Clay takes time to dry, and unfortunately, drying times can vary depending on the weather!
