Begin your journey into wine with the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines. Perfect for beginners, this internationally recognised qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. Explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell and taste, and gain the confidence to describe wines accurately and make informed food and wine pairings.
Throughout the course, you will taste a range of wines (included in the course fee) that meet WSET’s minimum specification requirements. On successful completion, you will receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.
Assessment
- Closed-book exam consisting of 30 multiple-choice questions.
- This qualification is regulated by Ofqual.
- Re-sit available for $120 if required.
Entry Requirements
- No prior knowledge required.
- You must be of legal drinking age to participate in alcohol tasting.
