Begin your journey into wine with the WSET Level 1 Award. Perfect for beginners, this course provides a hands-on introduction to the world of wine. Explore the main types and styles of wine through sight, smell, and taste while developing your descriptive vocabulary using the WSET Level 1 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT).
You will gain foundational knowledge in wine production, storage and service, and food and wine pairing principles. Upon successful completion, you'll receive a WSET certificate and lapel pin.
Course Features

- Assessment: Closed-book exam with 30 multiple-choice questions
- Resit available for a $120 fee if not successful
- No prior entry requirements, but participants must be of legal drinking age for tastings
