Session 2: Jan 9th: How does my Garden Grow

Learn about plant lifecycles and what a seed needs to grow. Explore the Gardens and look for flowers, fruits, and seeds. Sow our own flower, herb, or veggie seeds in recycled pots to take home.

Session 3: Jan 16th: There’s no such thing as Waste

Learn about the importance of recycling and how we can do our part. Explore the Gardens and look for trees to thank for the air we breathe. Put our recycling skills to work by making our own Recycled Seed Paper.

Session 4:Jan 23rd: Sensory Garden

Learn about connecting to our minds and bodies through our 5 Senses: Sight, Smell, Taste, Touch and Hearing. Explore the Gardens and practice a Leaf Meditation activity to engage our senses. Use a variety of mediums to practice Nature Journaling and create an artwork to take home.
