Unlock your child's creativity with our structured, hands-on sewing program designed specifically for kids aged 10 and up. From absolute beginners to those looking to refine their skills, we guide students through a fun, three-level journey to master the sewing machine.
What Your Child Will Learn:
- Level 1: Sewing Machine Essentials – Master threading, filling a bobbin, reverse stitching, and exploring decorative stitches.
- Level 2: The Creative Process – Start a real project! Students learn how to cut patterns and embellish their fabric.
- Level 3: Project Completion – Assemble and finish a custom-made tote bag, including adding durable straps.
Beyond the Basics: Once students have mastered the fundamentals, they can progress to advanced projects like pajama pants, A-line skirts, custom pillowcases, and soft toys.

Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 2 days before class starts. Free of charge.
- A transfer can be requested 2 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 1 day before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$5.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Meraki Cottage or organised by Meraki Cottage must agree to these terms and conditions.

2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Meraki Cottage unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Meraki Cottage classes and events or on Meraki Cottage premises. (For use of Meraki Cottage marketing materials).
