Celebrate Aotearoa’s unique nature in this creative hands-on workshop! Kids will learn about and sketch our one-of-a-kind native moths and butterflies before crafting their very own stitched art work.
Using upcycled fabrics and felt, we’ll layer textures and colours to create a beautiful insect patch, complete with beads and stitching to bring it to life. You’ll even use fabrics featuring native host plants, telling the story of how our local wildlife thrives.
Take home your finished masterpiece ready to be ironed or sewn onto a bag or jacket!

- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.

- Cancellation by participant within 10 days or on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given. You may nominate someone else to take your place before the class starts.
