Chocolate Making Class
In this fun workshop, you'll learn to do hand tempering on marble (today, most companies use machines to temper their chocolate).
Some of the goodies you'll be making and devouring include a chocolate slab, chocolate bar and hand-flaked hot chocolate. Every class involves 3 hand tempers, so you'll have plenty of opportunity to get some hands-on experience.
You'll learn about the history and science of chocolate, as well as the botany of the cacao tree. You will get to taste a raw cocoa bean and learn the processing involved in transforming the cocoa bean into delicious chocolate!
Each guest will get a sample bag with one of each item made on the day (and we'll all cheer with the hot chocolate at the end of the class), as well as a certificate of completion; you'll also get to eat as you go. This class covers more theory, so if you're more interested in getting straight into the hands-on component and to make/eat more chocolate, check out our other 1.5 hour-long class instead.
Please note: We require a minimum number of 6 people to run this course. If we don't reach this number (doesn't happen often), we'll contact you to rearrange your booking for the next convenient class.

Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A transfer can be requested 2 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested 2 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Coco Chocolate or organised by Coco Chocolate must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Coco Chocolate
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Coco Chocolate unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Coco Chocolate classes and events or on Coco Chocolate premises. (For use of Coco Chocolate marketing materials).
