Winter Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop
Description
Winter pruning of fruit trees is vital for setting structure in young trees and promoting fruiting wood in mature trees.
Join expert horticulturalist Justin Calverley for our winter fruit tree pruning workshop and learn how to best care for your fruit trees for health and to maximise your yield for next season. This workshop will give you the skills to prune with the confidence to achieve the tree you wished for. The workshop will combine both the theory of why and what we prune in winter with demonstrations in the orchard.
Please bring your gardening gloves and a pair of sharp clean secateurs.
