Description
Join us for a talk by Fiona on "Gardening with Indigenous Plants," where you will discover the benefits of incorporating native flora into your garden. This presentation will explore the ecological advantages of using indigenous plants, such as supporting local wildlife, conserving water, and maintaining biodiversity. Fiona will share practical tips on selecting, planting, and caring for native species, making it easier for you to create a diverse and eco-friendly garden.
The presentation will also include a brief tour of the propagation areas, nursery and gardens here at Edendale Community Environment Farm including the pollinator garden and bushfood/rare plant gardens. You are welcome to bring along your questions.
This is an adult focused learning experience and not suited to young children.

While there is some parking available at the front of Edendale we would encourage you to investigate some more sustainable transport options including:

Some overflow parking may be available at Eltham North playground. Plan your visit

Edendale is a Community Environment Farm on 6 hectares of land adjacent to the Diamond Creek in Eltham.
We are open 7 days a week 10am to 4.30pm.
Entry to the farm is by Donation at one of our electronic tap points around the farm.
Along with our animals, indigenous plant nursery, school environmental education program, events and workshops, Edendale plays an important role as a hub for the local community to learn and share ideas about sustainable living, caring for nature and climate action.

Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Edendale Farm or organised by Edendale Farm must agree to these terms and conditions.
1.) LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Edendale Farm
2.) PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Edendale Farm unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs, videos or recordings taken at Edendale Farm classes and events or on Edendale Farm premises. (For use of Edendale Farm marketing materials).
Photos and videos recordings will not be taken of children without written permission from parents or guardians.
3.) REFUNDS
Edendale Farm requires 72 hours notice in writing prior to the class commencing for a refund, transfer or credit.
4.) CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled by Edendale Farm, students will be notified via text message or email and entitled to a full refund, transfer or credit.
