Over 50 people have attended this class

Description

VULNERABLE, THREATENED, ENDANGERED AND RARE

The Wildlife Xposure Team is back for the holidays!

A unique opportunity for children over 3 years old to encounter a selection of Australian species listed as vulnerable, threatened, endangered and critically endangered. Participants will be given the privilege to see, touch, and hold rare and endangered species as they learn about conservation efforts and how we can help conserve and protect their future.

Topics explored include:

  • Natural Disasters
  • Climate Change
  • Human impacts
  • Competition and displacement by introduced species.
  • Disease

There will be opportunities for your child to handle some of the animals and get up close for photographs.

This session goes for an hour and is targeted at school age children and may not be suited to younger children whose attention span is shorter. Please take this into consideration prior to booking.

Bookings are essential and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults are not required to purchase a ticket.

Should this event sell-out we may add more sessions so please put your name on the waiting list.
