Come along to Edendale for a hands-on, fun-filled art experience where kids can get creative using the natural beauty around us!
In this Bag Art activity, children will craft their own personally designed print on a small calico drawstring bag using fresh flowers and foliage picked straight from our gardens. It’s the perfect opportunity for kids aged 4-10 to connect with nature while making a unique, reusable bag to take home. Plus, who doesn’t love a little art and nature mixed together?
What to Expect:
- Create Your Own Design: Use fresh flowers, leaves, and plants to make your own botanical print.
- Fun and Messy: Get ready for a little noise and some fun hammering as kids use a rubber mallet to imprint nature’s beauty on the fabric. (Don’t worry, younger ones will have plenty of help!)
- Take It Home: At the end of the activity, kids will have their very own colourful calico bag to take home and show off!
This activity is perfect for:

Details:
- Age Group: Best suited for ages 4-10, but older children can definitely still join in the fun!
- No extra charge for accompanying adults – just bring yourself along to enjoy the fun!
- Please allow time for parking – Edendale can get busy during the holidays.
- A bit of noise: There will be some hammering involved, so get ready for a little sound and lots of excitement!

Edendale is a Community Environment Farm on 6 hectares of land adjacent to the Diamond Creek in Eltham.
We are open 7 days a week 10am to 4.30pm.
Entry to the farm is by Donation at one of our electronic tap points around the farm.
Along with our animals, indigenous plant nursery, school environmental education program, events and workshops, Edendale plays an important role as a hub for the local community to learn and share ideas about sustainable living, caring for nature and climate action.

Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A refund can be requested 3 days before class starts. Free of charge.
- A transfer can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 3 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.
Terms & Conditions
Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Edendale Farm or organised by Edendale Farm must agree to these terms and conditions.
1. LIABILITY WAIVER
I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Edendale Farm
2. PHOTO & VIDEO
I agree to give Edendale Farm unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs, videos or recordings taken at Edendale Farm classes and events or on Edendale Farm premises. (For use of Edendale Farm marketing materials).
Photos and videos recordings will not be taken of children without written permission from parents or guardians.
3. CANCELLATIONS
In the event that a class is cancelled by Edendale Farm, students will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund, transfer or credit.
