Draft Your Own Perfect-Fitting Block

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn industry-standard pattern drafting techniques to draft a bodice, skirt, or pant block to your own measurements.
What You’ll Learn:
✔ Taking Your Measurements – Learn how to measure accurately for a truly custom fit.
✔ Drafting the Block – Using professional methods, draft your own basic block from scratch.
✔ Testing the Block – Sew a toile (mock-up) to assess fit and make necessary adjustments.
✔ Perfecting the Block – Refine your block for precision and comfort, ready to use as a base for future pattern designs.
At the end of the class, you’ll take home your perfectly fitted block, along with a patternmaking starter kit, paper, and card to keep creating!

Hi, I’m Jacqueline, a master patternmaker, Fashion Designer, educator, and fashion industry expert with over 30 years of experience in design, pattern drafting, and garment construction. My years as a TAFE teacher and my passion for precision fit and craftsmanship has inspired Fashion Tech Studio a new hub for expert led fashion education, support and Inspiration!
