Buy & Arrange Market Flowers

This is a new Francesca workshop and it was so so good. I enjoyed learning how flowers are grown on the farm and then seeing the freshest flowers at the market. Francesca showed us how choose 3 bunches of flowers and arrange them into a gorgeous bouquet. I could feel my mood improving as the morning progressed. Such fun!

Another very successful excursion with Francesca. I love the creativity of the workshops and the ideas Francesca has for making the classes fun, interesting and different. These are not just run of the mill classes - they are experiences. I really enjoyed this workshop held in conjunction with Farmgate Flowers Direct. Bec from Farmgate very kindly allowed us to choose 3 bunches of whichever flowers we desired from the beautiful selection available that day. The flowers come from Bec's family farm in Tasmania and are flown in fresh in time for the weekend market. The quality and freshness of the flowers has to be seen to be believed. Francesca, as usual, was available to help with flower selection and produced two beautiful bouquets using different techniques. I have attended quite a few classes with Francesca and every time I learn something new - insider tips and techniques for getting the most out of your flowers and creative ways of arranging flowers. Every participant takes home their own unique work of art. There is something so satisfying in creating something so beautiful. I chose a bunch each of Lotus Lillies, Ranunculas and Tulips and together with a generous selection of foliage was able to create a really beautiful bouquet. There are so many things I love about these workshops including the consistently exceptional tuition, gentle guidance and hands-on pratical skills that I am developing as a result of Francesca's ability to share her knowledge and skills in a way that is easy to understand and actually do for yourself.
