TERM 3 STARTS 11th, 12th & 13th JULY with 8 x 2.5 hour sessions, $440, plus $110 for clay & firings, GST incl.

This boutique style Studio offers a pleasant light filled working space, situated in a green environment in the hills of Mt.Eliza.
The Tutor for all classes is Manuela Ferstl who has over 35 years of teaching experience.
Small groups of 7 students offering a more personalised experience for great one-on-one attention.
Term 2 will consist of 8 x 2.5 hour weekly sessions. The fee will cover all classes, tools & equipment.
The extra $110 fee covers bisque firings, glaze firings, also includes a fantastic range of beautiful colored glazes & underglazes to explore & experiment with, and, 5 or more different clays to choose from. Please note, extra clay/firing may be purchased anytime if creating larger sculpture pieces etc. This extra fee is due the 1st week of the term.
Please BYO mug if having a cup of tea or coffee :-), plant milk options only on offer.
All firings are done on-site which means there is no transporting of the fragile pieces and keeps breakages of students' precious creations to a minimum.
Each class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced.
Tuition in any of these classes encourages individual development. & offers wheelwork, sculpting & hand building.
Students can work on their own projects, at their own pace with guidance at hand as needed.
The studio is COSY & WARM in winter, and AIRCONDITIONED in summer.
Make-up classes cannot be offered for missed classes, or as refunds or transfers, so please consider this when booking, thankyou. If you can't make a class, you can arrange with Mt.Eliza Pottery Studio to send someone else in your place :-) .
Refunds/transfers can only be offered for uncontrollable circumstances such as we are all in lockdown (personal isolations not included), or, from classes cancelled by Mt.Eliza Pottery Studio themselves.
Once a student has gained a place, they have first option to keep their place & continue through to the following term.
Saturday Morning Casual Taster Classes are available also, new dates released every couple of months.

- How to create shapes & forms in clay by rolling, extruding or manipulating your clay

- A relaxing experience. Great satisfaction in creating one's own pieces of art. Skills to do wheelwork, handbuilding or sculpture. Skills to design and glaze also. A pleasant social environment. Learning great skills in a group which is not overcrowded.

What to bring
- Please bring an clean old towel, washed each week to keep dust to a minimum. Coffee mug.

Comfy clothes. Warning: it might get messy! but definitely all washable

Come escape the daily routine and center yourself with some soul-shaping fun! Tucked in among old gum trees and songbirds, this cottage-style workshop provides a tranquil setting for creating all things clay!
Manuela offers a range of classes for all ages and learning stages. Come have some fun learning Hand-building, Sculpture, or even the Potters Wheel.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
- A transfer can be requested 14 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$10.00 applies.
- A credit note can be requested 14 days before the class starts. An admin fee of AU$10.00 applies.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Terms & Conditions
1.) If Mt.Eliza Pottery Studio requires a class to be postponed or cancelled, your class can be transferred free of charge to another class of the same value, offered as a credit note towards another session free of charge, or refunded less a booking and admin fee charge. Credit notes last 2 years.
Customers are required to make up the difference if the class being transferred to is of higher value or, in the case of an increase in price.
2.) Please choose your classes carefully and note that refunds are not offered (other than if cancelled by Mt.Eliza pottery Studio).
-- Transfers & credit notes need minimum 14 days notice.
-- Transfers & credit notes may be considered if less than the required 14 days notice is given, ONLY if your place has been refilled, however, NOT LESS than 3 days notice.
3.) Make-up classes cannot be offered for missed sessions, refunded or transferred, please consider this when booking, thankyou. If you can't make a class, you can arrange with Mt.Eliza Pottery Studio to send someone else in your place.
4.) Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Mt.Eliza Pottery Studio or organised by Mt.Eliza Pottery Studio must agree to these terms and conditions.
5.) I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised at Mt.Eliza Pottery Studio or organised by Mt.Eliza Pottery Studio .
6.) A non-attendance, forfeits the fee paid.
