About The Business of Food
A small business (food) incubator offering services and space to get your new food business off the ground. Our aim is to create a space where new food businesses are nurtured to success in an environment of sharing and support.
Our clients include food producers making for their customers and retailers, trainers teaching others to cook, food companies running product familiarisation events and team building functions.
We provide advice and guidance on how to get your new business up and running - writing your business plan, setting up your food safety program and registration with the relevant authorities to create your food products (legally) and present them to the world.
Referrals to other small business supporters such as Accountants, Lawyers, IP Professionals and Food Technology and Packaging experts are available from our list of referral partners.
Cancellations & Refunds
If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
You’re welcome to send someone in your place.
OR
You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.
We recommend the refund upgrade option upon checkout in case you’re not able to attend the class. Learn more about refund upgrade option.
Terms & Conditions
Please note that we have minimum requirements for our classes to run effectively. If these numbers are not met, we reserve the right to cancel the class and offer a full refund or a transfer to another class.
Cancellations of class participants will be accepted up to two days before the class date. No refunds will be given if your place is cancelled within those two days.
Transfers are accepted. Please let us know who to expect in your place.
