Description

Off The Street Hip Hop is the dance company owned by Megan Ibrahim and Peter Sette. ‘Bringing hip hop to the kidz’ is their mission, one they achieve by running hip hop, breaking, acrobatic and art classes, workshops, school incursions, birthday parties, battles and various other events throughout each year.

Borne from a desire to provide an alternative style of dance classes for youth, they introduced ‘crew’ training, encouraging students to try something new and learn about the world of hip hop. Megan and Pete believe in the value of involving parents in their children’s education and promote a desire for inclusiveness of all family members, also working to educate parents in the importance of supporting their children’s self-expression.

Peter, or BBoy Sette finds a blend between fun and discipline, challenge and ease, in the classes. My son is always learning new cool moves and since he loves the classes, he practices during the week before his next class. A motivated professional and experienced teacher that can inspire his students through demonstrating and effective communication. I would highly recommend hip hop with BBoy Sette, check out his classes.

Pete’s Off The Street Hip Hop class is great! You do t need a lot of room, he keeps the kids engaged and challenges them along the way. My son always has a smile on his face when he sees Pete and the rest of his classmates on Zoom

Pete, aka Bboy Sette, has been an amazing teacher for our son Elliott over many years now. Both Megan and Pete are so dedicated and their genuine passion for their students is pretty amazing. You just don’t get this kind of commitment at any old dance school. Megan and Pete adapted so quickly to run classes online, the kids didn’t skip a beat. Cannot recommend Off the Street Hip Hop highly enough!
