Description
Travel photography is rewarding and fun and captures our memories for years to come!
This 8-hour Travel Photography Workshop in Canberra will take you on a walking tour, inspiring and exciting you to take better travel photographs with the guidance of a talented professional photographer.
You'll get to wander around Parliament House and it's gardens of old, we capture some beautiful stain glass in The National Library and finish the day by the lakeside at Regatta Point as the sun sets.
What to expect
On the day of your photography course, you will meet with your tutor and the other people in your group in a city cafe.
The workshop will begin with a briefing on the day’s agenda. We also have a chat about equipment and critique a selection of your photographs that you've taken in the past before heading out on our photographic adventure.
During the photography workshop, you will explore travel photography from different angles, shooting up high and low.
Groups are kept to a maximum of 6 people, so you receive one on one help over the 8 hours.
Your tutor is an experienced travel photographer whose photography has taken him from the icy Swiss Alps to the Cambodian jungle and beyond.
He will provide you with photography and travel ideas, tips, and feedback along the way.
This is the perfect photography course for people who are about to embark on a trip or just wish to improve your ability to capture great photographs. It is a great, opportunity to have some fun, meet like-minded people and bounce your ideas off your tutor and other people in the group.

You are entitled to a transfer or credit note.
If you can't attend the class:
- A refund can be requested 2 days before class starts. Free of charge.

Numbers on the Day
These workshops are limited to a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 students, dependent on the maximum for each class. In the unlikely event of not reaching minimum numbers, the course will be postponed to the next available date.
This does not apply to the private and online lessons which are one on one.
Weather
Locations may vary according to weather conditions. The location will be sent to you the night before the workshop following a check of the weather forecast.
