Note: This is a human only event. You do not bring your dog.

It is really stressful having a dog who pulls on lead, lunges towards other dogs or barks at people/cars/cyclists/birds/etc.

This comprehensive seminar presented by Jari Castle will show you the proven fear-free methods to get your dog on track to being less reactive to the things around them, and more responsive to you.

Aimed at pet owners, you will leave knowing a bit more about your dog, how to help them, and what to do before, during and after a reactive episode.

No dogs will attend the session (except service/assistance dogs).

About RSPCA Victoria

We are a non-government, community based charity that works to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection. RSPCA Victoria was established in Melbourne in 1871. Since this time, the RSPCA has become Australia's leading animal welfare charity.

Our community services include work in education, advocacy, animal care and protection. In Victoria, we operate nine animal Adoption Care Centres and one community pet care centre, providing refuge and care to more than 20,000 animals every year.

As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on community support to care for 'all creatures great and small'.  More than 90% of our funding is due to the generous support of the Victorian community.

This was such a worthwhile session. I'm already putting into practice the techniques demonstrated in the class. Jari is a very calm and clear communicator, which I guess is why she is such an excellent dog trainer. Thank you so much for giving me the first tools to help change my dog's behaviour. The logistics were also great - easy to find, good parking, and nice tea, coffee and snacks, great take-home resources. Loved it.
