What is the Feline Harmony Project?
The Feline Harmony Project is a 4-part webinar series presented by Naomi Thomson and Jade Currie at RSPCA Victoria. Join us as we navigate 4 feline behaviour topics, where we address common behaviour challenges and discuss targeted solutions.
Each webinar will include a live Q&A where you will have the opportunity to ask questions relating to the content or relating to your own feline at home.
Presenters:
Naomi is a Certified Cat Trainer and an Animal Behaviourist at RSPCA Victoria, whom specialises in timid and fear-based behaviours in cats. Naomi dedicates herself to working closely with our shelter cats, extending her guidance to foster carers and newly adopted pet owners, offering invaluable behaviour support.
Jade is a Behaviour Consultant working at RSPCA Victoria’s Veterinary Behaviour Clinic, Good Pet Behaviour. Jade consults with pet owners that are struggling with their pet’s behaviour challenges to help facilitate positive behaviour change.

How to prepare for introducing another cat into the household and what you should be looking for when choosing to get your cat a feline friend. It also covers strategies for successful introductions, addressing potential conflicts, and creating suitable environments to ensure a peaceful and happy coexistence.

Helping Shy Cats Bloom

This webinar provides insight into helping shy cats feel settled, comfortable and flourish in their homes. Participants will learn techniques to build strong human feline bonds. Using positive interactions to create trust and environmental changes to help them feel more secure. This webinar will also cover how to identify signs of fear and anxiety, learning strategies for managing stress and when to seek professional help.

Arousal and Aggression in Cats

This webinar dives into the complex topic of arousal and aggression in cats. Participants will learn how to identify signs of arousal and aggression, understand potential triggers, and learn effective techniques to manage your cat’s behaviour. This webinar aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of arousal and aggression, to help you understand more about your cat’s behaviour and where to start with behaviour modification and safe management at home.

Litter tray lessons
6.30pm - 7.30pm
This webinar dives into the common challenges with toileting and litter box use in cats. Participants will learn about potential causes behind litter box problems and inappropriate elimination. You will also learn about practical strategies for identifying, addressing, and resolving these issues. It will also discuss preventative tips to prevent future litter box problems. This webinar aims to promote good litter box habits, and improved well-being for cats and their owners.

If the organiser cancels the class:
You are entitled to a full refund.
If you can't attend the class:
- A refund can be requested 7 days before class starts. Free of charge.
- A transfer can be requested 7 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
- A credit note can be requested 7 days before the class starts. Free of charge.
No changes will be allowed after these times.

Terms and Conditions - Face to Face courses
- Program activities are conducted by RSPCA Victoria Education Officers and staff. RSPCA Victoria reserves the right to alter activities or cease programs should staff and participant safety be compromised.
- For safety reasons, participants must wear appropriate clothing and closed-in shoes.
- RSPCA Victoria reserves the right to cancel the class should minimum numbers not be met. A full refund will apply in these circumstances.
