Description

Discover the Magic Beneath the Surface

Join us for a joyful dive into the hidden world beneath your garden. In this playful and curious session, we’ll unearth the living universe in your soil—wiggling worms, mysterious larvae, squirmy witchetty grubs, and scurrying slaters—and celebrate their gorgeousness through garden journaling.

You’ll learn how to capture these fascinating critters on paper through mindful observation and creative sketching (no squishing involved!). We’ll also explore how to study and document your soil horizon—the beautiful layers that tell the story of your garden’s health and history. Plus, discover stunning, visual ways to record your soil’s pH that will add depth and creativity to your nature journal.

By the end of the session, you’ll be totally infatuated with soil—its life, its layers, and the role it plays in your garden’s story.

This session is part of a three part series called “Winter Gardening Journalling”. Other topics include  ‘Finding Solace in Your Garden; Soil – Recording its Gorgeousness; Nighttime Garden Journalling.   Book the Series Package for discount and access to special bonus: a prerecorded intro session to help you get started.
