If you have ever been enticed to give rock'n'roll, swing or jive dancing a go, but the thought of moving your body to music in public makes you more overwhelmed than a moth at a candlelight vigil, then THIS IS THE CLASS FOR YOU! Not ONCE were we made to feel silly for making rookie errors, cause guess what- We are rookies!! And fun is for any skill level. Corrections were made gently, and demonstrations were repeated; we did so well in fact, that we were learning more skills than they'd initially intended to teach us. ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED. It's also a great way to meet new people of any age, and appreciate that a whole bunch of people can get in a room and be united by movement and music. I hadn't felt so social since pre-2020, which still feels like a fever dream. Don't hesitate, just book it. Just do it. Like, right now. You won't regret it- I'd even bet my firstborn on it. Ok, maybe not, but definitely my secondborn. Thanks Swing Katz!

The Sydney Swing Katz troupe was established in 2000 and is comprised of many talented, vibrant, young and enthusiastic dancers from Sydney, Australia. They have performed alongside some great musicians and artists such as The Beach Boys, John & James Morrison, The Bloody Beetroots, Lanie Lane, Belles Will Ring, United Dance Works (UDW), Ignatius Jones, Rhonda Burchmore, The Velvet Set & Monica Trapaga just to name a few. They also have earned the respect of their peers in the world of dancing through many years of competing and teaching.

Have fun learning how to dance Swing, Lindy Hop, Rock n Roll or Latin. We can help you no matter whether you want to social dance, get fit, compete or perform. No partner necessary.

Private lessons also are available on request, either at our studio or 'on the road' at a location convenient for you.

Cancellations & Refunds

If the organiser cancels the class:

You are entitled to a full refund.

If you can't attend the class:

You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

OR

You may cancel anytime before class starts and claim a full refund or transfer or credit note.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Swing Katz.

2.) PHOTO & VIDEO

I agree to give Swing Katz unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Swing Katz classes and events or on Swing Katz's premises. (For use of Swing Katz marketing materials).
