Speaker Building Workshop Course
Description
Embark on a Journey
Over a course of 4 sessions you will be given the tools, materials and guidance to build your own pair of high quality speakers. This course is hands-on intertwined with theory about sound and audio.
Use your hands as tools and develop skills in speaker design, construction and theory. By the end of the course, you walk home with your own pair of hand-crafted speakers and the knowledge you need to set up a Hi-Fi system in your home.
Build Premium Speakers
These premium speakers are made for people who want the best of the best. They are designed to reproduce music at lowest distortion possible. This has been achieved through pairing high quality Danish speaker components with an advanced crossover design. The power handling of our premium speakers is 100 watts, which is pretty serious for their size - can handle the house party for sure. They are studio monitor grade, so you won't be let down by the quality of sound. It's a two way design and is ported, which provides a bass extension of 45 hz. The frequency range of this speaker is 45 hz - 30 khz. Further details on speaker specification can be found on our website, see TROHET speaker page.
These specifications are discussed over the course of the four sessions so you will know your speakers inside out. If you were to buy speakers similar to these off the shelf, you're looking at spending at least $6500.
American Alder is provided as standard for the cabinets, however, they cabinet material can be upgraded to Birch plywood, Oak or Mahogany.
