Description

This program focuses on developing skills and creativity in a fun and nurturing environment. We cover many fine art techniques such as drawing, painting, ceramics and printing with a strong emphasis on sculpture and craft. Suitable for all skill levels in grades 2-3. Budding Artists Saturday mornings from 11-12.30pm for grades 4 & 5.

Anna Kolusniewski, a seasoned costume and jewelry designer, founded "Aa is for Art" in Melbourne's inner west after a successful career in the fashion industry. She now leads term-based visual arts programs for children and workshops for adults, while also teaching at various institutions throughout Melbourne. 

Anna has collaborated with numerous nonprofit and government-funded organizations to deliver impactful art therapy programs. Recognized as one of Australia’s foremost costume jewelry designers, Anna specializes in theatrical and period styles. Her award-winning work has been featured in a variety of bridal and fashion publications, showcased at Fashion Week, and highlighted in film and theater productions. Additionally, Anna has contributed to many group exhibitions, further establishing her presence in the art community.

She believes everyone has the ability to be creative and with positive encouragement can produce beautiful artwork. She also believes creativity has a calming effect on children and builds confidence through a sense of achievement, she loves inspiring children to push the boundaries of what they think they are capable of to send them to next level.

Ana’s class is fantastic. My daughter is counting days to go to her art class She is doing this class more than 2 years now and we are so happy with her improvement Highly recommended Ana’s art class

Our 8yo joined Anna this term and had such pride and joy from being supported to extend his art experience and options!

Our daughter absolutely loves her Saturday morning art class with Anna. Anna’s small and cosy studio is an amazing environment to learn, be creative, and explore different art mediums. Thank you Anna!

If the organiser cancels the class:

You are entitled to a full refund.

If you can't attend the class:

You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

  • A refund can be requested 2 days before class starts. Free of charge.
