Etsy Masterclass: 'One of a Kind' Zine Making

Description

Scoop up your textas, dust off your fancy paper, peel off that gold leaf — we’re making some zines! Not just any zines, these will be special one-of-a-kind treasures. One-off zines can be incredibly personal and a treat to hold. Special artefacts for you to keep secret or to pass on to your bestie. We’ll have a selection of books to show you from our personal zine and art book libraries, and we’ll be working together discussing publishing, printing, binding methods, and new art techniques. We’ll also share with you a bit about what we do as illustrators and printers.

ABOUT SARAH MCNEIL AND ASHLEY RONNING

Sarah McNeil and Ashley Ronning work together from their studio in Brunswick. They took their education in fine art and graphic design, threw the pieces in the air, caught some bits, passed others between them, and became illustrators and printers. Sarah and Ashley work collaboratively and separately on editorial illustration, exhibitions, workshops, and risograph printing for other artists through their print studio Caldera Press. When they aren’t working they have a hot chip in their left hand and a beer in their right, with ferns stuffed in their pockets. You can check out their wares online at their Etsy stores:
