Description

This is your opportunity to learn skills from one of Australia’s typography heavyweights!

In this full day session, you’ll explore new ideas and experiment with different techniques to take your digital lettering to the next level.

Participants will work on ideation and concept development through to sketching and refining using the power of the Adobe Creative Suite. The class will have a strong emphasis on creative composition and artistic letterforms.

This course is best suited to designers and lettering enthusiasts with a decent grasp of typography and moderate to advanced skills with the Adobe Creative Suite.

About Luke Lucas

Represented by The Jacky Winter Group, Luke is a freelance creative, art director, illustrator, designer, typographer and, most importantly, an awesome dad.

The thing he loves about typography is that through subtleties like a slight shift in line weight, the elongation of a tail or the arc you use, a letter can go from contemporary to traditional or happy to sad in a single stroke.

He co-founded Fourinarow Magazine and Lifelounge and over the years he has created stunning type for the likes of Nike, Toyota and The New York Times.
