In this 3-hour class you’ll learn the basic skills needed to create expressive lettering using a brush. We’ll begin by exploring calligraphic principles using a Tombow brush pen, learning how to create letters from a series of strokes.
Then using a round brush we’ll explore experimental styles and other techniques, encouraging you to find your own unique style.
Along the way we’ll also discuss elements of composition such as hierarchy, rhythm, and spacing, so you can leave with the skills to start creating your own brush lettering pieces.

I learnt basics for brush lettering, basic strokes and how to form letters using different styles and different mediums. The teacher was helpful and it was great to be able to bring the tom brush home after the class.
