Description

Take your digital illustration to the next level with Designer and Illustrator Kiel Tillman as he runs through his process of creating and drawing in Adobe illustrator using his Wacom tablet.

Throughout the workshop Kiel will unfold the process of developing an Illustration from initial sketch through to finished artwork. Combining his knowledge and experience the live demonstration will cover:

• Drawing techniques

• Setting up brushes

• Tips and tricks to push your drawing in new and advanced directions

Kiel will be basing his workshop around Adobe Illustrator and tools and techniques within this program. If you decide to use Adobe Photoshop or another drawing program, whilst the principals will be the same, some of the tools and techniques used will be different.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who has a Wacom but is yet to unlock its full potential or Illustrators that want to take their work to the next level.

ABOUT KIEL TILLMAN

Illustrator, Graphic Designer and Creative Consultant are just a few talents this mover and shaker, Kiel Tillman, has up his sleeve. His illustration work consists of bold lines and intricate patterns mixed with organic textures created predominately in Adobe Illustrator with his trusty Wacom tablet.

He is experienced throughout many design disciplines including, illustration, graphic design and branding, garment design and murals to name a few. This makes Kiel somewhat of a creative gun for hire. Kiel has done work with various brands such as Corona, Rhythm and Oakley.

Cancelation & Refund Policy

REFUNDS

Work-Shop requires 72 hours notice in writing prior to the class for a full refund. If you miss this window, earn some extra karma points and give your ticket to one of your buddies. The tickets are fully transferable. Email learn@work-shop.com.au to organise a refund.

CANCELLATIONS

We’ll do our darndest to run all scheduled classes, however, let’s face it… sometimes shit happens! Most of our classes must have a minimum of 5 participants before we can put them on. In the event that a class is cancelled, students will be notified via email and entitled to a full refund or credit.

Anyone partaking in any classes or coming to any events at Work-Shop or organised by Work-Shop must agree to these terms and conditions.

1.) LIABILITY WAIVER

  •  Any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property property brought into Work-Shop’s premises.
  • Any physical injuries sustained as a result of participating in any class or event organised by Work-Shop.

I agree to take on full responsibility for any damages, injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which I might incur whilst participating in classes and/or events organised by Work-Shop.


2.) PHOTO & VIDEO

I agree to give Work-Shop unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at Work-Shop classes and events or on Work-Shop’s premises. (Don’t worry, we’ll only these use to show others how much of a rad time you’re having through social media, newsletters, blogs, website and general Work-Shop promo material)

Kiel did an excellent job of making the class both informative and fun, while also creating a relaxed and non-judgmental environment. I picked up some get tips and tricks to use in Adobe Illustrator for my artwork. I recommend this class to beginners, students, hobbyists and professionals.
