Is tech and communication burnout all too real for you and your team? Want the crew to be super responsive via ALLLLL the channels, but then they’re finding themselves wiped from the constant info onslaught? Outsmarting The Smart Phone will help your team redefine their relationship with technology and their smart phones, and start to make a plan to develop a more balanced approach to the digital age in both their professional and personal lives. Perfect for a team that works in areas like social media or communications (but also for anybody that feels like the need a little tech-check in their life)
We’ve got one life. Let’s outsmart our smartphones and reclaim our brains.
ABOUT THE TEACHER
Ash Berdebes is a multidisciplinary communicator. Whether she was working as a journalist, radio presenter, documentary videographer or Federal media advisor, Ash wondered why it was so difficult for her to control her screen use - particularly with phones. Being a sucker for a new project, Ash couldn't help but fall deep into the research about behavioural psychology, neuroscience, design, and ethics. And so this workshop was born.
- About the psychological foundation of smartphone habits and how they are engineered and designed to hook you
- How to customise your phone to combat these techniques and relaim your brain
- A personal written plan of action for the next few days to create some balance in your personal and business life
- Materials and resources for further research and customisation
- Time, health and peace of mind
- BYO smart phone
Everybody with a smart phone (and might want to get their head out of it) and who uses technology heavily to manage their communications at work and in their personal life
