Show someone you are thinking of them and learn some illustration skills along the way with this beautifully nostalgic postcard illustration class!
In this 90 minute workshop, Hannah (the artist, illustrator and creative mastermind behind Twinewood Studio) will guide you through crafting your own minimalist botanical illustrations and how to bring these hand drawn flora elements together to create a beautiful postcard ready to send to a lucky recipient. Each participant will walk away with 3 postcards lovingly hand illustrated by yourself, and ready to pop a stamp on and send.
Learn all the skills you need to make a stunning collection of hand-drawn postcards, including the basic knowledge of working with fineliner pens, how to draw delicate and whimsical botanical illustrations by hand, and what makes a beautiful composition.
ABOUT HANNAH FROM TWINEWOOD STUDIO
Hey there! I'm the artist, designer, photographer and maker of pretty things behind Twinewood Studio. Creating is my passion and I take great joy in fusing minimalist design with the honesty and soul that comes from making something by hand, to craft beautiful content for individuals and creative business owners to enjoy.
Born in London and now based in Melbourne, I am lucky enough to work with creative businesses from around the world including artists, photographers, fashion designers, skincare manufacturers, videographers, lifestyle product retailers and bloggers. My work is influenced heavily by the world around me and I aim to capture the simple pleasures in life through the medium of illustration.
After studying Fine Art: Painting and Drawing at university, I travelled the world with my sketchbook in hand and ended up in Australia with several sketchbooks full of delicate, whimsical pen drawings and a heart full of a drive to create. And that is exactly what I do! I spend my days sipping tea, drawing the world around me, and sketching to my heart's content.
