Description

African Drumming Team Building Workshop
ONLINE: When your team is in one location.

Inspire your team with our covid-safe team building sessions, connecting staff remotely through the power of the drum. Share your organisation's ethos and objectives with us and we'll design a customised experience specifically for your team.

If your entire team is situated in one location, such as an office or school, but cannot invite a facilitator on site due to restrictions, we include drop-off and pick-up of all the instruments for your workshop to one location*. Your facilitator will then host your team building workshop online. Enjoy the benefits of drumming in a group, with an engaging and experienced live virtual facilitator.

Key skills in practice:

Team work, communication and playfulness are integral to the effectiveness of any organisation, and working remotely can often make it harder for teams to practice these. Our team building sessions bring individuals together, developing and fostering cooperation, mindfulness and rapport.

All workshops duration and size can be modified upon request, please contact us for a customised quote at events@africandrumming.com.au

*Drums delivered to locations within Metro Melbourne.

African Drumming

4.9
(15 Reviews)

Established in 1997, African Drumming has become Australia’s trusted name in West African music.

We are dedicated to sharing the music and culture of West Africa in all that we do: through classes, workshops, study tours and performances which connect a wide audience with this powerful music. Not to mention our instruments! We are one of the largest African music stores in Australia and we love our drums.

In 2011 we relocated from a little store in Grey Street to a larger purposed Head Quarters @ 252 St Kilda Rd, St Kilda. Our HQ houses both the brains and brawn of the operation, with our showroom, studios, offices, warehouse and the all important drum making workshop here under one jamming roof. We love it in St Kilda!

We have a nation-wide network of drummers and dancers under our banner and operate across Australia. Our team includes performers and drum makers from around West Africa such as Mali, Senegal, Ghana and of course homegrown talent too.

We’re always looking to the future and constantly working on the next big project, event and product.
