Description

Are you searching for creative indoor family activities or a special gift? If so, you've come to the right place! Learn all about famous Sydney artist Ken Done, his life, artworks and how to recreate your own version of some of his work, in this on-demand art class!

This class is suitable for both adults and children, with no art experience necessary, making it perfect if you're after things to do with kids at home. You will be guided in a digital classroom by professional artist, teacher and founder of ARTea Art School Helen Pollard, who will help you create a masterpiece to be proud of.

Ken Done is an Australian artist with a unique style who works predominantly in oils and acrylics and in this class, you will learn about his life, influences and guided step by step to create a final artwork based off his work! Your ARTea Box will come with everything you need to follow along and create your artwork.

The beauty of these workshops is that they can be paused and replayed as many times as you require, allowing you to gain a full understanding. This live online class includes basic techniques for a younger audience as well as more advanced to cater for all ages, so the whole family can join in!

What you'll get in your ARTea box

All the materials required to create your masterpiece:

- A 30 x 40cm canvas

- Two paintbrushes (thick & thin)

- Acrylic paint

- Mixing pallet 

- Resource material


What you'll need

Materials list:

- 2 sheets of A4 paper for sketching designs

- Pencil

- Black fine liner

- Primary colour paints or coloured pens if you don’t have paint, (only required if you do not purchase the box of supplies)

- One canvas (any size) or watercolour paper or any plain paper for the final artwork (if you do not purchase the box of supplies)

Cancellations & Refunds

If the organiser cancels the class:

You are entitled to a full refund.

If you can't attend the class:

You’re welcome to send someone in your place.

OR

  • A refund can be requested 7 days before class starts. Free of charge.
  • A transfer can be requested 7 days before the class starts. Free of charge.

No changes will be allowed after these times.

Terms & Conditions

For Afterschool Art Smart Program -
Payment is made at the start of each term and will vary from term to term depending on the number of classes.
Please note that missed lessons are not refundable, but catch up lessons can be arranged at any of the other school locations, or a double lesson at your current location (subject to availability). If, however, you know child is going to be away at the start of the term for any length of time please let us know in advance before the commencement of the term and a revised invoice will be issued.
