WeTeachMe Gets a Major Makeover
Here's a shiny new gift from us to you 💜
As we’re sure you’ve already seen, a couple of days ago, we introduced a completely refreshed WeTeachMe to the world. From all sides, the site is playful, beautiful, and contemporary… if we do say so ourselves. But we don’t just look different; we’ve also done a complete revamp under the hood, introducing bespoke features that allow a simpler and easier booking experience of the best and most popular classes across Australia.
We had a great time redesigning the platform and tending to all the little details; and in this post, we’d like to walk you through some of the things you’ll love the most:
New Logo and Brand Identity
This part is one of our personal favourites. Our new logo and colours (goodbye, yellow!) feel modern, fun, and inspiring — a perfect representation of who we are, our passion for providing amazing learning experiences, and our vision to make it easy for anyone to learn what makes their heart beat. We’re soooo in love with our new look that from the months leading up to today, we started sticking it up on everything and couldn’t wait to finally release the whole package into the wild!
With the launch of this new look and feel, the responsive design for mobile and tablet makes WeTeachMe feel more alive. Navigating between categories is way easier, and discovering classes that appeal to you is now just a simple tap away.
Improved Search
We’ve enhanced our site’s search capabilities to make it easier for you to seek out exactly what you want. We added filtering options that allow you, for instance, to browse classes in a certain time period, with a certain price, or with a specific name. This is super useful, for example, for when you have a free week or are traveling and want to know about any exciting classes that are happening wherever and whenever.
Improved Class Profiles
You’ve given us feedback and we heard you loud and clear. Just as with the rest of the website, class profiles have been revamped to now more clearly illustrate if a class is well-worth taking, and to make sure that the most important information stands out from everything else.
The main image is displayed nice and big on the top left, and more photos of the actual class itself are also available. To the right is the basic class info, and below you’ll find the complete class description, student reviews, mandatory merchandise (if any), and special instructions. All these are presented in a streamlined, easy-to-digest layout so you can make an informed decision before booking.
Favourites Button
Too many awesome classes, so little time, right? We get you. Now you can save any class to your wish list, by adding it to your favourites. To save a class, find the heart icon that’s right underneath the class details section and then simply tap that to add it to your coveted list. (You have to be logged in to WeTeachMe to enjoy this feature.) And when you’re ready, find your favourites later by visiting your account settings.
WeTeachMe is Now Free
WeTeachMe is home to the best and most popular classes in Australia, and it is also a booking system to build and grow successful teaching businesses. With this relaunch, we’ve now made our technology FREE for anyone and everyone who wants to teach. Why? Because at WeTeachMe, we have always been deliberate about our mission of providing access to high-quality learning. But we can’t do this alone. By connecting the most passionate of teachers and learners through the platform, our mission is made possible.
