A Whole Weekend of Painting with Malini

Malini Parker continues to colour our world with her creativity-harnessing painting workshops, with another one coming up in May. As many students have attested, you’re bound to feel something extraordinary when you take part in one of her classes. Malini certainly knows what she’s saying when she says ‘art is life-changing’, because she’s lived it herself. It took decades for her to finally discover she could be an artist. And now she shares this creative, enlightening experience through her painting workshops. “Frankly, I’m a little addicted to the transformation I witness when beginners (particularly those who are a little terrified) come to my workshops!,” Malini said. “I might be some kind of alien creature from science fiction – I’m convinced that I absorb the creative energies that are unleashed in the room when a group of students gather to make art!”

On May 26th in Perth, Malini will lead the class through a whole weekend of creating beautiful and unique textured paintings using acrylic paint and other unconventional materials like leaves, thread and even lace! Students will come home with four (4) new paintings they created themselves, and a renewed inspiration to create more.
