Redefining Space

Redefining Space

With Verity Kindlaysides

Description

Take a new approach to sketching using distance and space to become aware of your drawing movements.

In this drawing workshop guided by practicing artist Verity Kindlaysides, sweeping gestures will be either limited or exaggerated, with mindfulness informing our mark-making. We’ll be experimenting with charcoals, chalks and inks on a range of paper textures within varying time constraints.

With an indoor/outdoor flow to the workshop space, learning will be accelerated through multiple iterations of observational drawing exercises where freedom of expression reigns.
