Learn to Draw
Description
Join resident artist Julie Moselen for a fun and engaging 6-week after-school drawing adventure. Kids will dive into the exciting world of art, learning essential drawing skills using pencils and charcoal. From studying light, shade and contrast, to exploring different rendering techniques, this class is designed to build confidence in drawing for all skill levels.
Young artists will discover a variety of drawing styles, including observational drawing to capture the world around them, step-by-step animal drawing to bring creatures to life on paper, and imaginative free drawing to let their creativity soar.

The Corban Estate Arts Centre is located in Henderson, West Auckland.
We’re home to artist studios, our very own cafe, art classes for adults, youth and children, and an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and events.
Set within park-like grounds amongst historic winery buildings. Open Monday to Saturday, entry is free, everybody’s welcome.

Your Teacher
Julie Moselen completed a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Metalcraft and Jewellery Design before moving to Aotearoa in 1998 and founding her own contemporary jewellery studio. Over the following decades she expanded her practice to encompass printmaking, painting and stone-carving, before settling on sculpture.

- A deposit is required to secure your place and payment must be made in full to confirm your booking.
- Cancellation by Corban Estate Arts Centre entitles the participant to a FULL REFUND.
- Cancellation by participant up until 7 days before the workshop commences results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 10% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant within 7 days of the workshop commencement date results in a transfer where possible OR full credit to be used within 6 months of cancellation date OR a full refund MINUS a 30% admin & booking fee.
- Cancellation by participant on or after the workshop commencement date results in NO refund given.
