In this after school course of 5 wheel throwing classes, your 10-17 years old kids will learn the basics of wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing.
They will be able to finish and take home 10 pots each. We will teach them how to make cups, bowls, planters, and candle holders. Making pottery is not only a creative process but it is also a meditative and mindfulness practice for adults and children alike. In this course, we plan to give demonstrations and guidance on making pots, but we will also encourage everyone to be creative and playful and add their own flare to their work.
