Experience the magic of creating unique ceramic pieces with our wheel throwing class in Melbourne. From the moment you step into our workshop, you'll feel the excitement and anticipation of learning a new skill.
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of wheel throwing from our friendly teacher to create your unique ceramic piece.
Throughout the entire ceramic course, the teacher will accompany and guide you to create works you love. The teacher will encourage hands-on experience, and at crucial moments, assistance will be provided. So, there's no need to worry – you will definitely have completed pieces by the end of this pottery course.
Learning how to throw pottery on a wheel can be an incredibly rewarding experience and there's something truly special about taking home something beautiful that was created by your own hands.
With our expert guidance throughout this activity, anyone can learn how to throw pottery like a pro!
Please note:
- Ceramics will be ready for pick-up two to four weeks after your class.
- This workshop doesn't include glazing. If you would like a glaze, please contact us for a second class.
- Extra clays and extra pieces for fired can be purchased.
- Ceramics can be such a fun and rewarding art form, but unfortunately, not every piece survives the kiln. Sometimes, they may break due to factors like excess moisture or unexpected explosions during firing, despite our best efforts to prevent issues during the finishing process. While we always do our utmost to ensure a successful outcome, we’re unable to offer refunds for pieces that crack naturally. However, if we determine the damage occurred due to a kiln or technician error, we’ll be happy to assist accordingly.
