Food Handlers Course (SITXFSA005) via Zoom


This accredited online course, SITXFSA005 – Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety, is tailored for those working in hospitality. Whether you're preparing, cooking, serving, or handling food or related surfaces, this training ensures you meet Australia's food safety standards.

You'll learn how to handle high-risk foods, maintain personal hygiene, ensure proper sanitation of food preparation areas, and more. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.

Assessment

  • Online quiz with 23 questions to be completed in one sitting (2 attempts allowed, 100% pass rate required).
  • Portfolio including: personal presentation photo and explanation, hazard report, cross-contamination photo and explanation, and hand-washing video.

Important Information

  • Good English proficiency is required.
  • This course is designed for hospitality settings (e.g., restaurants, cafés, small food businesses) and not suitable for health or aged care sectors.
