New Entrant Liquor Licence Training is a compulsory course developed by Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) to provide applicants with a strong understanding of the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 and associated regulations. The Licensees’ First Step (LFS) is a full-day course designed to help new licensees meet their legal obligations and minimise alcohol-related harm in the community.
The program provides an overview of Victorian liquor licensing laws, roles of regulatory authorities, interpreting liquor licence conditions, common offences, and best practice management. It supports licensees in upholding responsible practices and community safety.
