Licensees' First Step - Online VIC
New Entrant Liquor Licence Training is a training standard developed by LCV – Liquor Control Victoria to ensure that applicants have an adequate knowledge of the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 and associated regulations.
This interactive and real-time course is delivered via Zoom by experienced trainers and hospitality experts. You'll participate in discussions and activities just as you would in a face-to-face setting.
The aim of Licensees’ First Step is to provide an overview of Victorian liquor licensing laws to help licensees meet legal obligations and contribute to reducing alcohol-related harm in the community. This initiative focuses on the licensee's responsibilities and implementing best practices.
Most new liquor licence applicants are required to complete this full-day course. If you have not completed an RSA course, you will need to do so in addition to this training.
